With great success shooting the British film production Mamma Mia! in Damouchari Mouresi Municipality. The natural port has seen days of intense artistic activity, starring actress Meryl Streep accompanied by rich artistic group. In the days of filming the Damouhari the place was crowded with hundreds of women and children who took part in the film Mamma Mia !. Filming began with the scene in which fishing boats accompanied the wooden boat, carrying the port of Damouchari daughter of the protagonist, while the music of ABBA on which the musical Mamma Mia! heard at all hours of filming at sea, the pier, the stone paths of Damouchari and the olive grove, with pianist of the legendary band Benny Anderson to life the rhythm of the piano.
Under this scenario, the Greek island (scenes shot in Damouchari) is home to the leading actress (Meryl Streep), where she was visiting her daughter reaching harbor wooden boat to search for the real father. This reunion results, all the women to leave their jobs and live magical moments liberated, dancing and singing the famous ABBA song "Dancing Queen" on the paths and the pier of the port

They are also offered for a honeymoon stay for those who adore admiring the Aegean Sea View.
The swimming pool of 54 sqm dominates the Aegean Sea offers you a splend of active oxygen, a vital refreshment both for your body and mind.

In Papa Nero beach , it's not allowed to come by car. This fact in combination with a distance or almost 150m ( on foot) that needed to come from the closest car - parking, to our hotel, gives you undoubtedly the opportunity to be in a quite place, far away from the city's noise.
By bus, car or taxi.
By bus there are two different routes to get Agios Ioannis
- The first route is through Portaria, climbing the mountain you arrive in Chania, where is and the skiing center center. There, you will descend on the eastern side by the borough Mouresi. (55km.)
- The second follow the route to Tsagarada. You pass the villages of Milies, Xourihti, Tsagarada, Mouresi and you reach crossroads to Kissos.
If you come by car there are also shorter routes of 10 km. Call us to serve you.
